Perspective, Views, Compositions

Image
Multiple perspectives and views in art can be used to create a sort of surreal atmosphere, as shown in the art below. It can replicate a realistic atmosphere, or the artist can use it to create their own setting, one that wouldn't be able to exist in reality. Composition in art is the way a piece of planned out, and where elements of the picture are spaced out. Whether it's in 2D or 3D, a well balanced composition is needed to create a captivating piece.

People I Admire

Image
Someone I admire is Moxie Saturday, an artist that brings inspiration to me. I follow them on Instagram, and regularly view their work. They are very empowering and artistic and gives me hope for possibly working as a freelance artist in the future. As a fellow artist, I admire them greatly and hope to achieve the same level of craftsmanship they do one day. Someone else I admire is my mom. She is a strong woman and has always been there for me. She works to help me improve, and gives me hope. I don't know what I'd do without her love and guidance. She has always been patient with me when it comes to my mental health, which is a prominent part of my life. We work together to improve and get me better. She is such a beacon in my life. This technically isn't a single person, but my friends are extremely admirable. Most of my friends are artists as well, which is wonderful. I love being able to connect with them over shared interests and collaborating on artwork toget...

Rob Cantor

Image
Rob Cantor has always been a special musician to me. I've been a fan of his band, Tally Hall, since I was in middle school, and his upbeat tunes always helped me through hard times. He has very experimental music, with the use of lots of different instruments and style. Not one of his songs sounds similar to another one. His use of rhythm is very unique, relating to the principals of art. He also uses a mixture of instruments, creating unity in his music which I wish to express through my piece of him. Inspiration

Image
I personally take inspiration from many forms. Whether it's the world around me, a certain song, or another person's artwork, there's always something I can look back on that drives me to create. Visiting other artist's online portfolios and being inspired by their work is something I clearly remember and still do to this day. I also collect images of statues and nature that inspire me and give me ideas for painting.      I'm motivated to express myself from experiences in my life. Feelings I experience can often be translated through art. I also am motivated to express myself from other sources, such as other artists and music. I'd like to share my experiences with mental health with the rest of the world and how I communicate it through my artwork. Here are some artists I'm inspired by- Moxie Saturday Angelina Ortiz (ofangie on instagram) Charlie Federico (foongish on instagram)
